□ The Kamishihoro Town Hall (for which our laboratory was responsible for the conceptual design through the basic design phase) has obtained ZEB certification at the highest level, known as “Full ZEB.” Existing Town Hall Building: 100% energy reduction, BEI 0.00; New Building: 101% energy reduction, BEI −0.01. □ The 2025 Impact Factor for the international journal JAABE (Journal of Asian Architecture and Building Engineering), for which Professor Mori serves as Editor-in-Chief, was 2.6, marking a 1.0-point increase from last year. JAABE is a leading international architecture journal in Asia, jointly published by the Architectural Institute of Japan, the Chinese Society of Architecture, and the Architectural Society of Korea. □ Sapporo Station East Area: An interview with Professor Mori Suguru regarding the redevelopment project in the Kita 6-jo Higashi 3-chome district—which includes residential areas, urban parks, commercial facilities, hotels, and hospitals—has been published. (May 27, 2026)

□ Gentai Obuse (M.A., 2019) received the 2023 Urban Society of Japan Paper Award for his peer-reviewed paper, "Analysis of Issues in Local Livelihoods from the Perspective of Trial and Error in Creating Mobile Vending Usage Bases : Focusing on Business Development in Depopulated Areas in Hokkaido, Japan".
